2012 taught me...
To be patient . I learned this in law school, in playing a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, and in dealing with my ‘gubaon’ laptop. I remember the time when I called my friend around 3 o’clock in the morning, heavily crying, coz I lost my konting patience to turn on my laptop. She told me “Ga pasensyahe anay na, pahuwayi, tulogi anay.” That maybe the first time that ‘patience’ penetrated in my system (coz hindi talaga ako nagsleep until naging okay yun). I accepted the fact that not all the things I want, I can get in an instant. I need to wait for the right thing to happen at the right moment, even if it is matagal pa. Patience made me survive my first semester in law school. And recently, I received a compliment from my sister when she told me, “Nang tingala gid ko simo nga nagkapasensya ka sa jigsaw kag.” So yea, from now on, I will wait… wait…. And wait for nothing but the best. To believe in second chances . I used to believe that there should be no more room for second chances....
